Kolkata: The JEE main examinations are to begin from July 18 to 23 as declared by central Government which qualifies students for the IITs. For medical students the NEET examination would be held on July 26. This year-almost 15 lakh for NEET and 9 lakh students for the JEE Main examination will appear.
Everybody had to endure a long wait for this announcement and so many were going through uncertainty.
In this connection Sardar Taranjit Singh, MD, JIS Group said on Wednesday, “Yesterday’s announcement came as immense relief to many. This I feel is a wonderful news that will lift the mental strength of students and at the same time since there is still ample time, students can prepare themselves better.
“ I also feel if any student faces any problem or requires any assistance in their preparation due to movement restrictions, they can get in touch with us directly as we are holding a mock test and giving tuition of Physics , Chemistry , Mathematics and Biology free of cost through our expert teachers” .
Also various state level examinations like JEXPO will be held, however, no dates have yet been announced . Also there is the concern of dates for State Joint exam and Higher Secondary dates which are held up. “We have to see how quickly we can sort and expedite this. For this, we are in talks with our Education Minister , JEE Board and Higher Education Department for a quick breakthrough,” he added.
