CPM demands Amit Shah’s resignation for Delhi trouble

Ankur Bhattacharya ; Kolkata , 26 February: Expressing serious concern at the violence in some parts of Delhi for the past 72 hours claiming 18 lives so far, CPM state Secretary in West Bengal Surjya Kanta Mishra has demanded resignation of Union Home minister Amit Shah taking responsibility for his alleged ‘failure to take proper measures to contain the violence ‘.


Blaming the union government, particularly the Union Home ministry, for allegedly failing not only to contain violence but also not being able to prevent party legislator Kapil Mishra from allegedly making instigating speeches,Dr Mishra also demanded his (Kapil Mishra’s) immediate arrest.
In a message through his twitter handle last night the CPM leader said “Feel ashamed to see Kapil Mishra not yet taken to custody.He knows neither about Kapil’s teachings,nor the meaning of the word mishra like his RSS masters’.


Meanwhile, another senior CPM leader and the party’s state Committee member Sujan Chakraborty, MLA has also criticised the rule of Chief minister Mamata Banerjee at the current juncture and for her decision to take part in the proposed Eastern Regional Internal Security Summit in Bhubaneswar under the Chairmanship of Union Home Minisiter Amit Shan on 28 February.


In his twitter handle he said today ‘Delhi is burning as RSS and its minions are creating havoc in the capital.But Mamata is unusually silent ! Another message to Amit Shah before the Bhubaneswar meet? Another exposure of the under the table agreement between BJP and AITC on the offing?’
