Bengal CM expressed concern for Delhi violence

Kolkata, 25 February: Joining all other political leaders across the country, West Bengal Chief minister Mamata Banerjee today expressed her ‘serious concern’ at the unabated violence in several places of Delhi and urged everybody for calm.

Commenting on the present situation in parts of Delhi where some persons including a police constable have so far been killed in violence and arson,the Chief minister said here this evening that she was not only very much concerned at the whole situation but was also ‘very disturbed’ to see the cycle of violence.
‘I do not know what is going on there’, she said and urged everybody to help restore peace and calm.

‘India is a country of all religion and brotherhood and we should not engage in any sort of violence’,the Chief minister said and offered her help and assistance by any manner whatsoever to restore peace and stability in the violent prone areas of Delhi.
