Informing this company sources quoting Shashwat Sharma, Chief Marketing and Brand Officer of Airtel said here today that International travelers from India had now been growing at a rapid pace, a sizable number of them were first time travelers from tier 2 and tier 3 cities and towns.
Keeping their diverse need in mind Airtel had leveraged its technology and digital platforms to develop several new customer friendly features for them and for catering to the emerging needs of different other types of travelers, the sources said.
In addition,as the needs of regular business and leisure travelers were also evolving continuously, Airtel had innovated several new digital platforms with some other new features like Real Time Usage Tracking, No Unwanted Data Usage, Simple System to Enable and Disable IR Service with a single touch and several comprehensive Global Packs.
In the past few quarters, Airtel worked on some of the biggest customer needs and pain-points around international travel and developed these innovative features, the sources quoting Sharma stated adding to ensure seamless access to these features, simple and intuitive control and power button had been given in the hands of customers.
